Foster, who came out of retirement to produce the entirety of Now or Never, is responsible for some of the biggest and most iconic songs in the world: Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing”, Toni Braxton’s “Un-Break My Heart” and Celine Dion’s “Because You Loved Me”.
He says: “Every once in a while, an artist comes along who makes you want to fall in love with your craft all over again, this was Emin’s gift to me. He is an extraordinary singer and Emin made every one of these 12 songs his own in the most beautiful and extraordinary way. It’s an album full of surprises and memories, but with an exciting new twist as only Emin can do. I am so proud of what we accomplished on this album, and I can’t wait for the world to hear it.”
From a young age, Baku-born Emin studied in Europe and the US. Emin recalls his mother gifting him his first record – an Elvis album, where he discovered his passion for music. He credits the King of Rock n Roll for helping him write music, learn guitar and piano, resulting in impromptu concerts for family and friends — showcasing his favourite Elvis songs.
Since then, Emin has become a household name in countries around the world with an almost 20-year career spanning 17 critically acclaimed albums, dozens of international awards, and hundreds of international performances around the world. He has performed on stage with Jennifer Lopez and toured stadium crowds across multiple dates and cities alongside Take That: one of the most successful bands in British chart history.
With a love for pop music from Robbie Williams to Engelbert Humperdinck, the list of Emin’s collaborations includes “Coming Home” with blues luminary, Joe Bonamassa and Chic legend, Nile Rodgers who performed on hit single, “Boomerang”. The track was playlisted on BBC Radio 2 with the remix reaching #9 on the Billboard dance chart. Previously released album Wonder became BBC Radio 2’s Album of the Week and After The Thunder produced two BBC Radio 2 Singles of the Week. Emin also previously worked with award-winning producers Brian Rawling (Cher, David Bowie, Kylie Minogue) and Fraser T. Smith (Adele, Stormzy).
