EMIN ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM NOW OR NEVER PRODUCED BY MULTI-AWARD-WINNING DAVID FOSTER

MULTI-AWARD-WINNING DAVID FOSTER Today Emin announces brand-new album, Now or Never, featuring duets with Nicole Scherzinger, Katharine Mcphee and Engelbert Humperdinck, set for release on 9 February 2024, inspired by the late Elvis Presley. The album will comprise of 12 reimaginations of Elvis classics and produced by 16x GRAMMY award-winning David Foster (Dolly Parton, Barbra Streisand, Aretha Franklin). Pre-order Now or Never HERE.

Emin says: “This album is a dream come true, I started my musical career listening to Elvis, and learning to write music based on what Elvis was singing. Meeting David Foster 10 years ago, doing a show with him and performing some of Elvis' songs gave me enough confidence to think we might collaborate one day! Now we've created this beautiful album together. David and I handpicked some of Elvis' best songs and I'm so grateful that he's taken on this project and made it as incredible as he has. As a producer, every album David touches becomes the artist's best work and he's done the same for me. This is the best piece of music I've ever done!”

Released today, “Blue Christmas” is the first official single to be lifted from the highly anticipated new album. With Foster responsible for producing the 10x platinum album, Christmas by Michael Bublé (one of the biggest Christmas selling records in the UK of all time), Emin reignites the timely festive Elvis-inspired classic, dedicated to loved ones and those we miss at Christmas time. In a year that has been filled with conflict and displacement, and at a time when everyone is meant to be together, Emin pledges to donate all proceeds of “Blue Christmas” to a chosen charity, yet to be announced officially joining the race for Christmas #1. Embracing his lifelong admiration for Elvis Presley, Now or Never will pay homage to the classics we have all come to know and love. Emin has handpicked his beloved and most poignant 12 Elvis-inspired love songs and the album will include hit single, “Suspicious Minds”, sentimental romantic Plaisir d'amour inspired ballad “Can’t Help Falling In Love” and the iconic film title track, “Love Me Tender”.

Foster, who came out of retirement to produce the entirety of Now or Never, is responsible for some of the biggest and most iconic songs in the world: Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing”, Toni Braxton’s “Un-Break My Heart” and Celine Dion’s “Because You Loved Me”.

He says: “Every once in a while, an artist comes along who makes you want to fall in love with your craft all over again, this was Emin’s gift to me. He is an extraordinary singer and Emin made every one of these 12 songs his own in the most beautiful and extraordinary way. It’s an album full of surprises and memories, but with an exciting new twist as only Emin can do. I am so proud of what we accomplished on this album, and I can’t wait for the world to hear it.

From a young age, Baku-born Emin studied in Europe and the US. Emin recalls his mother gifting him his first record – an Elvis album, where he discovered his passion for music. He credits the King of Rock n Roll for helping him write music, learn guitar and piano, resulting in impromptu concerts for family and friends — showcasing his favourite Elvis songs.

Since then, Emin has become a household name in countries around the world with an almost 20-year career spanning 17 critically acclaimed albums, dozens of international awards, and hundreds of international performances around the world. He has performed on stage with Jennifer Lopez and toured stadium crowds across multiple dates and cities alongside Take That: one of the most successful bands in British chart history.

With a love for pop music from Robbie Williams to Engelbert Humperdinck, the list of Emin’s collaborations includes “Coming Home” with blues luminary, Joe Bonamassa and Chic legend, Nile Rodgers who performed on hit single, “Boomerang”. The track was playlisted on BBC Radio 2 with the remix reaching #9 on the Billboard dance chart. Previously released album Wonder became BBC Radio 2’s Album of the Week and After The Thunder produced two BBC Radio 2 Singles of the Week. Emin also previously worked with award-winning producers Brian Rawling (Cher, David Bowie, Kylie Minogue) and Fraser T. Smith (Adele, Stormzy).
